Participation conditions and data protection regulations
General information:
The 100 years platform is an interactive website for all EJOT employees to celebrate the 100 years anniversary together. The platform serves in particular to exchange information about EJOT and about each other, to chat and get to know each other better, to share pictures and videos and to participate in contests and sweepstakes. Only current and, if applicable, former employees of EJOT have access to this platform. In addition, EJOT reserves the right to allow access to carefully selected other guests.

EJOT collects data by default when you use the platform. During the mere informational use of the platform, we collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our platform, we collect the following data, which are technically necessary for us to display our platform to you and to ensure stability and security:
- IP address
- Date and time of the request
- Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
- Content of the request (specific page)
- Access status/http-Status code
- Amount of data transmitted in each case- Website from which the request comes- Browser operating system and its interface- Language and version of the browser software. However, this data does not allow us to draw any conclusions about individuals.
All data on the 100 years EJOT platform will be deleted in February 2023 at the latest. Your data will not be disclosed to third parties. Data transfer to third parties takes place only to service providers, as far as this is mandatory, and also only to the extent necessary. In the case of necessary data transfer, the service providers are carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by our instructions, are regularly monitored and are obligated to maintain confidentiality. Where necessary, contracts for commissioned data processing have been concluded with them in accordance with the provisions of data protection law.

Profile:
The fields marked with * are mandatory. They are required to be able to identify you. Additional data can be provided by you voluntarily. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a) GDPR. All data entered by you in the profile can also be viewed by other users. This is intended to promote the exchange between users. For images and videos, you can decide separately whether you want to share this data with others. If you want to share them, they go into a gallery open for everyone. You can also reverse your decision at any time for each image or video separately, so that these images or videos are only visible to you or are deleted completely. Please share only those images and videos where you have the authorization to do so (especially due to data protection and copyright regulations).
Games:
By participating in the games of the 100 Years EJOT Anniversary Platform you agree to the following terms of participation and privacy policy: As part of our 100th anniversary, you will have the opportunity to win great prizes and learn a lot about EJOT every 2 weeks from January 1 to December 31, 2022.
But please note: In order to participate in the draw for the prizes, you must solve the task within a maximum of three attempts. After that, you can of course continue playing; however, you will then unfortunately no longer be allowed to participate in the prize draw.
To participate in the raffle, it is necessary that you have provided the following information in your profile: First name, last name and email address. If this is not yet the case, please complete your profile where marked with *.
The respective winner will be selected randomly and informed by e-mail. In the email you will be asked to provide the shipping address for the prize. Legal basis is art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR.
A maximum of one entry is allowed per person and day - this is ensured via the IP address and cookies. The competition is only valid in the mentioned period of two weeks. Entry is open to persons aged 16 years and over.
There is no entitlement to substitution or cash payout of the prize. EJOT expressly reserves the right to errors, changes and premature cancellation of the promotion.

Those who wish to participate must upload an appropriate photo or video, which will be published internally. In addition, the respective name and/ or department must be provided in order to participate.
Please upload only those photos and videos for which you have the authorization (especially due to data protection and copyright regulations).

Raffle:
EJOT is celebrating it's 100 year anniversary and we want to celebrate together. Since this is not physically possible for everyone, we would like to create this opportunity for at least a few colleagues from the foreign locations. By participating in the raffle, you can win a stay of several days for the anniversary celebration in Germany with accommodation and travel to and from the event.
When you click on "Participate", you will be redirected to the profile and you must have filled in the following fields: Name, First Name, Email and Location.
The specification of the EJOT location is required, since the draw is made per subsidiary.
